Members may recall that a couple of years ago  Chev. Dr. Bernard Juby KLJ-J, SMLJ, CMLJ, (Hon) FHS, published Ordo Sancti Lazari - A Continuation, a compendium showing the Arms of more than 600 members of our Order who have received a Grant of Arms. It is a most interesting work, the availability of which, with the concurrence of our Grand Officer of Arms, should be communicated to our members world-wide. It also contains a most informative section related to heraldry within the Order since our inception.

The Delegation of the Military and Hospitaller Order of Saint Lazarus of Jerusalem in Mexico organized an event last Wednesday, May 8th, to raise funds with the aim of helping the clinics in Irapuato and Morelia at the Polanco Industrial Club in the City of Mexico.

Feminine energy was felt at the Investiture of the Grand Bailiwick of Austria and the Hereditary Comandery of St. Severin on Saturday, April 13, 2024 through the admission of three Consoeurs for the first time.  The ceremony took place in a very good, family atmosphere in summery weather in the St. Jakobskirche of the Roman Catholic parish Heiligenstadt in Vienna, 19th district.

It is with gratitude and deep sadness that we bade farewell to our beloved brother Klaus-Peter Pokolm, founder of the Humanitarian Grand Priory of Europe, whom our heavenly Father called home to his eternal kingdom on 22 April, 2024 after a long, patiently endured illness. The funeral took place on April 29, 2024 at St. Katharina's Church in Alt-Hürth.

On April 28th, several members of the Grand Priory of Italy, led by the Grand Prior of Italy H.E. Basilio Viola GCLJ, met briefly with the Ecclesiastical Grand Prior of the Order, The Most Reverend Monsignor Pennisi, during his visit to Chiari (Brescia- north of Italy very close to Milano)

Grand Prior Chev. Antonios K. Kourkoumelis-Kothris GCLJ-J and other senior members of the Hellenic Grand Priory have travelled to visit several other jurisdictions in recent months.

It is with profound sadness that we have just learned of the death of H.E. the Chevalier David James on 13th November 2023

During the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity, which since 1968 has been celebrated from 19 to 25 January throughout Europe, solemn rites for the investiture of new members of the Order of St. Lazarus of Jerusalem took place at the Grand Bailiwick of Sicily. A delegation from the Grand Priory of Slovakia, led by Grand Prior Chev. Capt. Mgr. Ing. Stanislav Holák, PhD, GCLJ-J, was also present.

On a chilly but sunny Saturday 27th of January members of the Grand Bailiwick of Scotland gathered in the lovely setting of Holy Trinity Scottish Episcopal Church in Stirling to celebrate this important day in the life of the 0rder.

Last January 6th on the occasion of the Feast of the Epiphany, the historical procession of the Magi was organized in Milan.Unfortunately, due to bad weather conditions, the procession did not start from Piazza Duomo in Milan, as per tradition, but was scaled down and held inside the Basilica of Sant Eustorgio.
