Victims of Hansen’s Disease have always been close to the heart of the Order. The Office of the Grand Hospitaller has encouraged all the jurisdictions to adopt this day as an important day in the Events Calendar and to organize an activity whereby the victims of this destructive infection are remembered, ideally combined with a dedicated philanthropic activity to generate funds to be used towards supporting these victims.
