Three new consoeurs for Austria!

Feminine energy was felt at the Investiture of the Grand Bailiwick of Austria and the Hereditary Comandery of St. Severin on Saturday, April 13, 2024 through the admission of three Consoeurs for the first time.  The ceremony took place in a very good, family atmosphere in summery weather in the St. Jakobskirche of the Roman Catholic parish Heiligenstadt in Vienna, 19th district.

The Investiture was framed by an ecumenical Liturgy of the Word, which was presided over by the Spiritual Prior of the Grand Bailiwick, H.E. Canon, Episcopal Vicar P. Lic.theol.Mag. Lorenz Voith, CSsR, EGCLJ assisted by Deputy Spiritual Prior Spiritual Counsellor Deacon Rupert Kremser, ChLJ chairman. The investing officers were advised by the Grand Bailiwick of Austria by Grand Bailiff Chev. Mag. Franz Moigg, KCLJ and on behalf of the Hereditary Commandery  St. Severin by Hereditary Commander S.D. The Chev. Stephan von Yordan, GCLJ-J.

Foreign guests were from Slovakia under the leadership of Grand Prior H.E. The Chev. Capt. Mgr.Ing. Stanislav Holak, PhD, GCLJ, with his Chancellor Chev. Ing. Jan Stanek, KCLJ and two other brothers, as well as from Germany with the Chancellor of the Humanitarian Grand Priory Europa Confr. Dirk Augustin, CLJ.

The following new inductees, promotions, awards and honours were presented at the investiture by the Grand Bailiwick of Austria:

Consoeur Sabrina Butschell, OLJ as Officer, Consoeur Bc.Mgr.JUDr. Katarina Vybostok, MBA, CLJ as Commander and Consoeur Hildegard Rauscher, OLJ as Officer. Promoted to Commander Confr. Bernd Butschell, MSc., CLJ and Knight Commander Chev. Mjr. HR D.I. Eugen Wallergraber, KCLJ. The Meritorious Service MSLJ Award of the Order for 20 years of merit and the Donat Medal of the Grand Bailiwick in silver went to Grand Bailiff Emeritus H.E. The Chev. Obst.Prof. Oswald M. Klotz, GCLJ, the Medal of Merit of the Grand Bailiwick in bronze went to Chev. Ing. Alexander Skriwanek, KLJ and Mrs. Anna Skriwanek, the Silver Medal of Merit of the Grand Balliwick went to Chev. Gerhard Gilg, KLJ and Chev. DDr. Walter von Döllinger, KLJ-J, Frh von Fechenbach zu Laudenbach.

The finale in the Roman Scholz Hall of the vicarage took the form of an agape meal with delicious rolls, petit fours and refreshing drinks.
