A message from the Grand Master.

It was an honour to share this special occasion with Captain José María de la Puente Mora-Figueroa, Commanding Officer of the Spanish Navy Training Ship Juan Sebastián de Elcano, on the occasion of the luncheon of the International Delegation of the Royal Spanish Naval League.

The Juan Sebastián de Elcano is much more than a training ship: she is one of Spain’s great ambassadors to the world and a symbol of our maritime and naval tradition, dedicated to the training of new generations of Spanish Navy officers.

A day of camaraderie and fellowship in Cádiz, sharing the values that unite those who hold a profound respect for the sea, history, and Spain’s naval tradition.
