Last January 6th on the occasion of the Feast of the Epiphany, the historical procession of the Magi was organized in Milan.
Unfortunately, due to bad weather conditions, the procession did not start from Piazza Duomo in Milan, as per tradition, but was scaled down and held inside the Basilica of Sant Eustorgio.
The participants in the procession were, as always, volunteers wearing precious period costumes, aimed at evoking the journey of the Magi, with the final homage to the Holy Family.
co-operate in the security service inside the Basilica, with the Alpini Military Force. The basque beret and the mantle with the eight-pointed green cross made spectators curious as they asked about the Order.
It was also a new opportunity to support the charity event "Bread in the Square", organized by the Capuchin Missionary Friars. Further donations were raised for the ongoing project to build an industrial bakery in Ethiopia, through the distribution of blessed bread.
The day ended with greetings and thanks from the civil and religious authorities present.
