On December 2nd & 3rd 2022, in Athens, in an atmosphere of brotherhood and following our Order’s principles and protocol, the annual celebrations of the Hellenic Grand Priory took place
This year's event was honoured by the presence of the 50th Grand Master H.E. Chevalier Francisco de Borbon Graf von Hardenberg GCLJ-J and of the Grand Master Emeritus H.H. Don Francisco de Borbon y Escasany 5th Duke of Seville and Grandee of Spain.
The programme included:
- On Friday December 2nd, the Vigil-Evening Prayer “Blessing of the Arms” at the Catholic Church of Saint John the Baptist.
- On Saturday December 3rd in the morning, the "Αριστείον" Αwarding Ceremony, the highest annual distinction of the Hellenic Grand Priory.
It was a great honour for the Hellenic Grand Priory to award with the “Αριστείον” distinction:
- Prince's Trust International. Mrs Ann Newman, Head of Delivery – Europe, Middle East & North Africa, Prince's Trust International received the “Αριστείον» award from H.E. the Grand Master on behalf of Prince’s Trust International.
- Mr. Evangelos Manoudakis, a prominent member of the Hellenic Entrepreneurship Society and great philanthropist, received the “Αριστείον» award from H.E. the Grand Master.
During the afternoon session on Saturday, the Investiture Ceremony welcomed six new postulants to the Hellenic Grand Priory. Promotions and Awards to other members were also made.
A Gala Dinner closed the celebrations during which in the presence of H.E. the Grand Master and H.E. the Grand Master Emeritus, our members, their families and friends and our brothers from foreign jurisdictions enjoyed a warm confraternal atmosphere. All events took place at the Athens Marriott Hotel.
