The 2024 autumn investiture and gathering of the Grand Priory of Finland were traditionally held in Helsinki. The investiture ceremony took place in the historic Uspenski Cathedral, where three new members were welcomed, and seven members were elevated.
The evening culminated in a delightful dinner at the beautiful winter garden of Restaurant Sipuli. In her speech, Grand Prior H.E. Dame Helena Pesola, GCLJ, emphasized the strength of our organization as a diverse and mutually supportive community that can confidently look to the future. She noted that taking responsibility for those closest to us is like making an ethical investment, where the value lies far beyond mere performance. Our humanity, she reminded, is measured by our willingness to help without expecting a return. Together, with open hearts, we can achieve great things.
Preparations for the 50th anniversary celebrations of the Grand Priory of Finland this spring in Turku are well underway, and we look forward to them with great joy.
