Following our tradition, a Holy Mass was celebrated for our advocate Saint Lazarus in the Greek Catholic Church on Fō street on December 10th. The Mass was conducted by Pásztor Bazil SChLJ, Mák Ferenc SChLJ and Mosolygó Béla SChLJ.
H.E. Countess Èva Nyáry DGCLJ-J, DMLJ,SMLJ,PSLJ led the commemoration, expressed good wishes for Christmas to those attending and presented awards to those members who had contributed the most to the Order and in their charitable work.
The service was followed by a meeting of the Order. The meeting lifted our spirits, strengthened our faith and as it concluded we were left with pleasant memories.

The recent Investiture of the Hungarian Grand Priory of the Military and Hospitaller Order of Saint Lazarus of Jerusalem was held in Saint Anna Church, Budapest on 3rd September 2016.

The Holy mass was celebrated by Bishop Dr. Lajos Varga, Mgr. Manfred Lipowski, Abr.  Archbishop Raynold L. Gom, Abbot Dr. György Herdics  and two Greek Orthodox Catholic priests of our jurisdiction, Fathers Bazil Pásztor SChLJ and Béla Mosolygó SChLJ.

A Solemn Investiture of the Order of St. Lazarus, Grand Priory of Slovakia, took place on 11th September, 2016 at 10:00 hours, at Moyzesová 20, Košice. The Investiture, which took place on the feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, was conducted by the Grand Prior of Slovakia, Chevalier Stanislav Holák, KCLJ, CMLJ.

“Formality-with-fun” has proved the growing theme of the successful annual Aberdeen dinners of the Order, with reaction from those attending this latest event in October 2016 judging it as “the best yet”.
Speeches were kept to a minimum, with those given being short and pithy.....for the Aberdeen event has long been declared a bore-free zone.
Organisers Duncan Cameron, Albert Thomson and Gordon Casely have succeeded in presenting an event that

’s colourful, entertaining, and above all, fun – and that’s quite apart from good food, wine and much singing.
