On January 12, The Budapest Commandery of the Military and Hospitaller Order of Knights of Saint Lazarus of Jerusalem made donations  to the settlement Vereb in Fejér County. We were received by the mayor and  deputy (Ms. Mária Kurucz &  Erzsébet Kerekes) and Dr. Levente Molnos. Poor people and families with many children of the settlement Vereb accepted the donations with great joy. They received cloths, books, kitchen utensils, Hoovers and other useful items.

For more than ten years the Commendery of St.-Lawrence  of Finland has given a  silver lining to Christmas celebration for children in need. This year the donation was given in the form of gift cards (value 50 euros each) to be used in a department store for whatever purpose child´s  parents wish to buy as a Christmas gift. The gift cards were given to social workers of the City of Helsinki and representatives of the church to be further donated to the recipients.
