The Foundation has started a fund
raising campaign in favour of the refugees from Chechnya. The Foundation supports the
efforts of Lazarus Volunteers Germany (Lazarus Hilfswerk in Deutschland e.V.;
LHW) to provide aide and assistance to the refugees actually living in Iguschetia in old
trains and with some of their relatives. As the winter is forthcoming the refugees need
now food and better shelter.
As the German LHW has on the spot facilities and helpers that can
provide foodstuff directly to the needy people the Foundation is committed to provide
funds raised in Luxembourg to support their effort.
