<title>HUNGARY - Parcels for the Children  of extendented Families in Miskolc</title>

<description><![CDATA[<img alt="" src="http://www.st-lazarus.net/international/cutenews/data/upimages/H-Miskolc-200.jpg" align="left" hspace="10" vspace="5">  The North Hungarian Commandery Miskolc presented gift parcels to the children of the Miskolc Catholic church and those of extended families on Thursday, June 13th, 2013. The parcels were donated by members of the Order.<br /><br />Rev. Ferenc Pal&#225;nkai Catholic and Rev. Dr. Atan&#225;z Orosz Greek Catholic bishops on the Kossuth square in Miskolc blessed the 150 parcels which were distributed among the pupils and children of local extended families from Miskolc. The parcels contained toys, food, chocolate and fruits. The action was combined with a short public singing jointly with the Sisters of St. Francis. The representatives of the Order were later invited by the Catholic School where the leaders of the school expressed their appreciation and gratitude in the name of their institution and in the name of the City of Miskolc. <br />]]></description>

<description><![CDATA[<div><img alt="" src="http://www.st-lazarus.net/international/cutenews/data/upimages/JAPAN_-_Patriarch-OSLDeleg-200.jpg" align="left" hspace="10" vspace="5">  Although the Delegation of Japan consists of only a few members at the  present time, they continue to do charitable work in Japan and throughout Asia  with UNISEF and Save the Children.&nbsp; This year, the Delegation of Japan was  awarded a Certificate of Appreciation from UNISEF signed by&nbsp; Anthony Lake,  Executive director of UNICEF, and Ms. Ryoko Akamatsu, Representative UNISEF  Japan and former minister of education.</div><br /> <div><font size="1"><i>His Holiness Patriarch Firaret received Chevalier Baron  Yoshihiko Okabe (Delgate for our Order in Japan)</i></font><br /><br />Chevalier Baron Yoshihiko Okabe, Delegate of the Orders Delegation of Japan, in the spirit  of international friendships, organized a Japan-Ukraine diplomatic forum in  Japan last year. He also met <b><a href=" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Filaret_(Denysenko) " target="_self">His Holiness Firaret, Patriarch</a></b> of  the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. In this academic year, Baron Okabe worked at the University of Bristol  in the UK as a visiting research fellow, and he received the Freedom of the City  of London award this February.<br />   </div>]]></description>

<title>PORTUGAL - Visit of the Grandmaster - Lazaristas Program established</title>

<description><![CDATA[<img src="http://www.st-lazarus.net/international/cutenews/data/upimages/P-Fahne-120.jpg" alt="" height="317" align="left" hspace="10" vspace="5" width="118">  For five days, the 49th Grand Master of the Military and Hospitaller  Order of Saint Lazarus of Jerusalem, D. Carlos of Bourbon, Marquis of  Almazan, visited the Grand Prior of the Grand Priory of Portugal<br /><br />The Grand Master was pleased to visit the first leprosarium built by the  Portuguese near Marco Canavezes, which was supported by the Order in  the thirteenth century.&nbsp; He also visited the headquarters of the Grand  Priory of Portugal, a magnificent building constructed during the  eighteenth century, with architectural features of the region.&nbsp; Situated  along the Douro River, the Grand Priory&#8217;s headquarters includes a  private chapel for its members, a meeting room, chapter room, library  and six dwellings for annual retreats.&nbsp; The Grand Priory of Portugal&#8217;s  headquarters will also become the center of Portuguese &#8220;Lazaristas&#8221;, to  create a framework for intervention and social support to Portuguese  people who need it most.<br /><br />   <img alt="" src="http://www.st-lazarus.net/international/cutenews/data/upimages/P_-_House-200.jpg" height="128" align="none" border="0" width="170">]]></description>

<title>HUNGARY  -Success and Tragedy - Team Leader informs after his return to Budapest</title>

Over such a time, it is impossible to survive at this height, and the last day when Zsolt was seen, P&#233;ter wasn&#8217;t with him, he was descending slowly, and it isn&#8217;t imaginable that they could reach the lower terrain on different passes. The sherpas trying to rescue them couldn&#8217;t find any trace showing that they could reach camp no. four at 7600 meters, and no other team could locate Zsolt and P&#233;ter&#8217;s track.
