The "National Voluntary Corps for Aid and Civil Protection O.S.L.J." has been founded according to articles 14 and 36 of the Civil Code on 17 December 2000 as a legal personality by a Grandprioral Decree, issued by the Grand Priory of Italy, duly signed by the Grand Prior and by the Chancellor. Its national headquarters is located at the headquarters of the Grand Priory.
