The members of the Hellenic Grand Priory gathered on 19 to 21 of September for a festive end of summer event, organized and hosted by the Commandery of Corfu, at the city of Corfu, the capital city of the famous Ionian island.
The program of the event included a visit of the monastery of the Holy Virgin (c.1225) of Paleokastritsa and a visit to the Achillion Palace, the palace that was built by Empress Elisabeth (Sissi) of Austria and latter owned by the German Emperor Wilhelm II.

The Priory organized from 19-21 September a reflection Weekend at the Libanese Maronite Abbey of St.-Charbel in Bois-Seigneur-Isaac. Several Masses, ceremonies and lectures were given. A great atmosphere was present as members of all 3 commanderies participated. The masses and ceremonies were held in different rites: Maronite and Roman-Catholic and ended on sunday with a grand eucumenical Mass. As for the lectures they were given by 2 guest speakers, Prof. Jacques-Yves Hespel from the University of Louvain and Canon Joseph Jallet,Lecturer in Pastoral Theology at the Seminary of Namur and rector of the sanctuary Foy-Notre-Dame.

From September 18-20th 2014, the Priory of Macedonia (FYROM) hosted its second Investiture in the City of Ohrid. The event was attended by several guests from Europe, all of Macedonian (FYROM) members, members of the Lazarus Humanitarian NGO in Macedonia (FYROM) and other visitors. The Priory had organized a Church Service at Macedonian Orthodox Church - St. Nikola Gerakomija. The Vigil service and Investiture were held at the at Roman Catholic Church - Ss. Cyril and Methodius & St. Benedict and were led by H.E. the Chev. drs. Ronald H.M.Hendriks, Grand Commander of the Order, H.E. the Chev. Klaus-Peter Pokolm, Grand Prior of the Humanitarian Grand Priory Europe, Chev. Prof. Dr. Lazar Lazarov, Prior of the Priory , Chev. Prof. Dr. Ilija Dzonov, Deputy Prior of the Priory, H.E. Monsgr. Dr. L. Schlegel, General Chaplain of the Humanitarian Grand Priory Europe, the Roman-Catholic Bishops H.E. Monsgr. Kiril Stojanov and Monsgr. A. Cirimotic.

On the initiative of Patriarch Gregorios III (Laham) and after consultation with other patriarchs and bishops in Damascus, daily prayer services for peace in Syria and the Middle East will be held in turn in the city’s churches of all denominations.
The first inter-denominational or ecumenical service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on September 22nd at the Melkite Greek Catholic Patriarchate in Damascus.
