The 50th anniversary (Golden) Mass for Pastor Father Bazil SChLJ was celebrated in the Greek Catholic church of Fő street, Budapest II. District on July 31, 2016.  The Mass was attended by Peter Jenik, the Prime Minister's Cabinet chief, who conveyed the greetings of Deputy Prime Minister Dr. Zsolt Semjén.

The Grand Master of the Order, His Excellency Don Carlos Gereda de Borbón, Marquis of Almazán, visited His Beatitude The Patriarch Gregorios III Laham, Melkite Greek Catholic Patriarch and Spiritual Protector of the Order during his recent stay in Munich (Germany). The meeting took place in a location next to the Munich central train station.

We are deeply saddened to share the news of the passing of our dear friend the monsignor Mathias (Mathieu) Jozef Maria Hanneman.

Mathieu Hanneman was born on August 31st 1950 in Kerkrade, The Netherlands, which means that he only became 65 years of age. Much too young in our perspective.
On October 9th 1976 he was ordained as a priest. For 25 years (since April 1991) he was pastor of the parish Saint Servaas in Maastricht and dean of the deanery Maastricht.
