The African Hungarian Union and its leaders have expressed their thanks to the members of the Order of St Lazarus, Grand Priory of Hungary, for their donation of funding for a new well in Uganda.

People living in the area had to walk for tens of kilometres for drinking water before, but thanks to the AHU and the Military and Hospitaller Order of Saint Lazarus of Jerusalem - Hungary, clean drinking water is now accessible to everyone.

The Western Cape Commandery of the Grand Bailiwick of South Africa recently raised a substantially larger amount of much needed funding for its designated beneficiaries - an orphanage and a hospital for terminally ill children – than has ever been achieved before.

Working in partnership with the Cape Town Burns Supper Club, members of the Commandery were able to auction and raffle a number of noteworthy items, to more than double the amount raised above that brought in at this event the previous year.

A charity concert entitled: “On the Waves of History – 300th Anniversary of Her Majesty the Empress Márie Therézie” took place in Bratislava on the evening of April 1st 2017.

The concert, in the beautiful setting of the Hall of Mirrors in the Primate's Palace was arranged on behalf of the Order of St Lazarus by Dame Angelika de Rossi DCLJ.

On 10 March 2017, the Military and Hospitaller Order of Saint Lazarus of Jerusalem delivered practical donations to the poor families of the city of Miskolc and the inhabitants of the house for the homeless. Working with the Red Cross of Miskolc, we delivered a car-load of items including:
